日前，在我校行政楼333会议室举行了IHD学院兼职教授的聘用仪式

 

 

       此次受聘的兼职教授是来自美国普渡大学酒店与旅游管理学院的终身教授，现任《国际旅游城市期刊》联席主编、英国格林威治大学(伦敦)客座教授Alastair Morrison博士。显然，Alastair Morrison博士是国际旅游学界的大咖，在旅游和酒店管理两个专业的理论和实践方面均有丰硕建树。

       We are pleased to announce an official appointment of the Dr. Alastair Morrison who joined International Hospitality and Dietary Culture College as an adjunct professor on March 30th. Dr. Morrison is a Professor of Perdue University, USA & an internationally recognized expert in the tourism field of business industry, as well as a current editor of the International Tourism City Magazine.

       此次聘用国际知名学者为兼职教授的目的旨在更好地推进IHD学院国际合作办学的MODUL项目各项工作的进展，以为学院和学生提供国际化专业和职业发展的平台，同时也提供酒店管理专业科研的国际化视角。

      He has been involved into publishing dozens of tourism related books through his fascinating career path being oneof the top experts in the related disciplines. Professor Morrison also boasts anotable research career aimed at understanding and development of tourism worldwide.

      聘用仪式由IHD学院MODUL项目负责人Zins先生主持，副校长Johan先生介绍了Alastair Morrison博士并向其颁发了聘书。

     The honorable ceremony was opened by the Dean for International Programs Dr.Andreas Zins, who introduced Professor Morrison to the faculty members.

      IHD学院院长张新南女士作了重点发言，她表示，此次聘用仪式是IHD学院的一个很好的发展契机，通过聘用要努力将国际化与“工本位”、国际化与本土化结合起来，今后还要更多地将IHD学院的发展与国际化的需求、与社会需求、与正大集团的需求进行对接，以培养更多地应用型人才。

      In Her return greeting speech IHD Dean Ms. Nancy Zhang emphasized this great opportunity for IHD faculty, stating the importance of further University internationalization, its social role and its close connection with global educational interests of the CP Group aswell as a growing new pool of well-established, future hospitality talents and industry professionals.
