The 4th International Joint Conference on Hospitality & Tourism 2024 (IJCHT2024) (Theme: Transformative Trends Shaping the Future of Sustainable Tourism) was held from September 3rd to 4th, 2024 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Hosted by Thai Binh Duong University, and co-hosted by National Institution of Development Administration (Thailand) and Universiti Teknologi MARA Penang Branch (Malaysia), the annual IJCHT conference has successfully gathered over 100 delegates from over 30 countries or regions (including but not limited to USA, Australia, China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Portugal). The three-day event was divided into morning and afternoon concurrent sessions with diverse topics (e.g., sustainable tourism, tourism planning, tourism marketing, human resources, information technology, educational tourism). Two renowned keynote speakers were invited: Prof Dr Cihan Cobanoglu delivered an on-site speech on “The Intersection of AI and Sustainability: Redefining the Future of Tourism” in the first day and Prof John Bowen delivered an online speech on “Novel trends affecting the growth of Sustainable Tourism” in the second day.

　　2024年第四届国际酒店与旅游联合会议(IJCHT2024)(主题：塑造可持续旅游未来的变革趋势)于2024年9月3日至4日在越南芽庄举行。由泰国平阳大学主办，泰国国家发展管理研究院和马来西亚马拉理工大学槟城分校联合主办，每年一次的IJCHT会议成功聚集了来自30多个国家或地区(包括但不限于美国、澳大利亚、中国、韩国、印度尼西亚、马来西亚、泰国、新加坡、葡萄牙)的100多名代表。为期三天的活动分为上午和下午两部分，讨论不同的主题(例如可持续旅游、旅游规划、旅游营销、人力资源、资讯科技、教育旅游)。会议邀请了两位知名的主讲人：Cihan Cobanoglu教授发表了题为《人工智能与可持续发展的交叉：重新定义旅游业的未来》的现场演讲;John Bowen教授发表了题为《影响可持续旅游业发展的新趋势》的在线演讲。

　　In the first day, connections with other universities (e.g., Universiti Teknologi MARA, Virscend University, NIDA) were made. In the second day, Tang Wenqi, from Hotel Management Program (Single Degree Program) and Siao Fui Wong from Modul School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Nanjing (Modul Dual-Degree Program) collaborated and presented their paper titled “Restraint factors on purchasing intention of educational tourism under parents’ perspectives: A case of the grand canal museum of China”.

　　会议首日，各参会学校教师之间(如：玛拉理工大学、维森德大学、NIDA等)进行了沟通与交流。第二日，我院汤文奇老师和MU项目教师黄晓晖合作发表了题为《家长视角下教育旅游购买意愿的制约因素：以中国大运河博物馆为例》的论文。

　　After the presentation, moderators, participants, and other presenters showed their appreciation on the well-structured paper and offered a few valuable insights and suggestions on the paper improvement.

　　演讲结束后，主持人、参与者和其他演讲者对这篇论文表示赞赏，并提出了一些有价值的见解和修改建议。

　　In the second night, the conference held a Gala Dinner and presented the best paper awards and certificate of participation.

　　第二天晚上，大会举行了晚宴，我院两位教师的论文获颁最佳论文奖。
